What Do I Need to Do for My Carrier Warranty?
Carrier's full parts warranty requires registering your new system within 90 days of installation — miss that window and coverage drops to Carrier's shorter base warranty term instead of the full registered coverage. As your installer, we handle this registration as part of every installation.
What We Handle
We submit your system's registration to Carrier at the time of installation, using your system's model and serial numbers along with the installation date — this is a standard part of our installation process, not a separate paid service.
What Stays Your Responsibility
Keep your registration confirmation for your records, and note the homeowner name and address on file matches who should be covered — if you sell the home, warranty transfer (where available) is a separate process the new owner may need to complete.
Why the 90-Day Window Matters
Carrier's base warranty (without registration) is meaningfully shorter than the full registered term — for a major investment like a new HVAC system, missing the registration window is an avoidable way to lose real coverage.
What If I Wasn't Sure Registration Happened?
If you're unsure whether your system's warranty was registered — whether we installed it or another company did — reach out and we can help confirm your coverage status directly.
